2023 was a banner year for cyber-attacks, marked by huge rises in ransomware attacks, DDoS attacks, cyber theft, and attacks on infrastructure. Most pundits agree that 2024 will only get worse. Every pundit seems to think they are the Nostradamus of cybersecurity, spewing predictions of what is to come this year—and most pundits pretty much predict the same things.
