This demo introduces the Sangfor Configuration Conversion Platform, a tool designed to simplify and accelerate firewall migration to Sangfor Athena NGFW. It demonstrates the migration of a real-world Fortinet FortiGate configuration with hundreds of network objects and firewall policies.
The platform supports both web-based and on-premises deployment options and currently converts ACLs, NAT configurations, and network objects from Fortinet FortiGate. The converted configuration can then be validated and prepared for deployment on Sangfor Athena NGFW.
The video walks through the configuration migration process, including exporting the FortiGate configuration, selecting the source and target versions, uploading the configuration, fine-tuning settings, and automatically converting the configuration for import into Athena NGFW.
