Founded in 1979 as part of the national ENAIP network, which was initially promoted by ACLI in 1951, ENAIP Friuli Venezia Giulia stands out as a regional benchmark for training, career guidance, and job placement, actively collaborating with companies, public institutions, and private entities. The IT Challenge of ENAIP FVG
ENAIP Friuli Venezia Giulia faced the challenge of an outdated IT infrastructure, including an on-premises data center and a VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) solution that could no longer meet the organization’s growing needs. Specifically, the system was unable to support:
- The significant increase in the number of connected users, including students, teachers, and administrative staff, impacting resource management and overall performance.
- The growing demand for online courses and virtual labs, which required greater processing capacity and more efficient management of digital platforms.
- The stringent security and performance requirements driven by evolving educational technologies, which called for modern solutions to ensure data protection, secure access, and optimal performance.
Sangfor Solution
To address the increasing need for innovation and support for digital learning, ENAIP Friuli Venezia Giulia chose to embark on a modernization process of its IT infrastructure with Sangfor. The goal was to overcome the limitations of the previous solution and provide a more agile, secure technological environment capable of supporting the evolution of training services. To this end, ENAIP opted to migrate to Sangfor HCI and adopt aDesk VDI, thus addressing the needs for performance, scalability, and security.
