Customer Background
VTS is a prominent system integrator (SI) in Turkiye, renowned for delivering world-class cloud solutions, data center services, and professional IT support to both enterprise and public sector clients. Headquartered in Istanbul, VTS has built a strong reputation for offering resilient, scalable, and secure infrastructure, tailored to mission-critical applications. To enhance its cloud service portfolio, VTS launched VTS Bulut, a cloud platform delivering flexible compute, storage, and network services.

Challenges
As VTS continued expanding its cloud business, it sought a technology partner that could offer integrated virtualization and native security in a cost-effective and scalable way.
Many of VTS's clients had increasingly strict security requirements. One of their core expectations was built-in cloud security, directly within the virtualization and management layers. However, most mainstream virtualization vendors either lacked native security features or offered them costly add-ons, requiring additional licensing, complex integration, and higher total cost of ownership (TCO).
VTS needed a solution that could provide:
- Embedded firewalling and micro-segmentation capabilities
- Full tenant isolation and compliance-level protection
- Centralized cloud management with simplified operations
- Lower operational and procurement costs without sacrificing performance or security.
Solution
To address these needs, VTS partnered with Sangfor Technologies, adopting the Sangfor cloud solutions:
Sangfor HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure): the advanced cloud infrastructure provides robust virtualization with native security components such as distributed firewalls, built-in WAF capability, and virtual firewalls to enhance their cloud security.
Sangfor Cloud Platform (SCP): a one-stop cloud management platform that unifies compute, network, storage, security, and tenant administration in a single interface.
With Sangfor, VTS was able to quickly deploy scalable virtual resources, cloud storage, and integrated security services — all within a unified system architecture. VTS delivers its cloud services to customers directly through the Sangfor Cloud Platform, where tenants can access self-service provisioning to create, scale, and manage their own virtual machines, storage volumes, and network configurations. The platform provides full visibility and automated orchestration, allowing customers to perform routine operations without opening support tickets.
In addition, VTS offers auto-scaling for virtual machines and Kubernetes-based container management for customers running modern or cloud-native workloads. The infrastructure is deployed across two separate sites in Türkiye, with Disaster Recovery configured between the two cities to ensure service continuity even in the event of a site outage.
VTS also utilizes Sangfor's embedded backup solution, eliminating the need for third-party backup software. This provides consistent data protection, simplified management, and lower operational cost, while ensuring faster recovery for tenants when needed.

Values
Since implementing Sangfor HCI and SCP, VTS has realized multiple benefits:
- Integrated Security: The platform's built-in distributed firewall and virtual firewall capabilities enable tenant-level segmentation and proactive protection, without external appliances or extra costs.
- Cost Optimization: Sangfor's all-in-one solution reduces licensing and operational complexity, lowering both CAPEX and OPEX by up to 40%. By consolidating infrastructure components into a single platform, organizations avoid separate hardware, hypervisor, and maintenance costs.
- Operational Efficiency: SCP enables centralized cloud control, automated provisioning, and visualized monitoring. It helps streamline service delivery and support. Through its self-service portal, VTS significantly reduced support-related operational costs and minimized investments in third-party monitoring services. Customers began handling many actions directly on the portal, resulting in fewer support tickets and faster service delivery. Additionally, replication between the primary and disaster recovery sites was performed easily by customers using minimal bandwidth, eliminating additional engineering effort. End-users were also able to conduct their own DR tests and generate detailed compliance reports, ensuring regulatory alignment while reducing reliance on technical staff. Overall, SCP transformed previously manual and resource-heavy processes into automated, customer-driven workflows, increasing operational efficiency, and lowering service overhead.
- Tenant Confidence: End-users benefit from stronger data protection, secure isolation, and compliance-ready infrastructure, boosting trust in VTS cloud services.
- Business Growth: With improved agility and service quality, VTS has strengthened its competitive position in Turkey's cloud service market.
By choosing Sangfor, VTS successfully transformed its cloud platform into a more secure, manageable, and profitable offering, delivering superior experience to its customers and expanding its market influence in the region.
